Evalie Says:

This is what my husband tells me last weekend after arriving home from my grad class. I open the door and find that Kate is in Josh's arms taking a little snooze as he watches football. He turns to me and says, "You have turned her into a reader. All she wants to do is read her books." I couldn't help but smile.


Later that evening, I caught Kate in this pose. I guess my husband is correct, but I couldn't be happier that she enjoys her books so much. I mean, who doesn't love a good read?

Halloween 2008

Evalie Says:

Our Halloween this year was much different from last year. Last year, Kate was only 12 days old. Shiner wouldn't stop barking at the trick-or-treaters, and Kate wouldn't stop nursing. I remember asking Josh with tears in my eyes to please turn the front light off. This year was a different story! Kate was full of smiles, her belly was full, Shiner only barked at a few trick-or-treaters, and Kate trick-or-treated herself. In all, it was a wonderful night.
